About the engineer
Jimmy Willard Anthony Smith, CEM
Electrical Engineering Design Consultant · Connecticut
Biography
A naturalized American citizen with love for God, Country, and Family — origins in Georgetown, Guyana in South America. Arriving by Pan American airliner as a permanent resident alien and student in 1977, enrolled in Public School Number 64 (PS#64), committed as a "student to the American Dream in these United States."
To the end of days, an American originating from the Republic of Guyana and now a resident of the Constitution State of Connecticut — with voluntary responsibility, sacrifice, service, and duty to our nation as an electrical engineer.

Engineering Expertise
Electrical Engineering Design Consultant experience since 2000+, broad and deep — primarily within Energy Conversion with respect to Electrical Machines. Contribution to the Art of Engineering Science is in full implementation while solving transfer function pairs: matching Impulse Response functions with system Transfer Functions operating between 0–10,000 Hz with discrete time invariants.
Additional performance analysis includes DC Analysis to find voltage gain and Trans-conductance Parameters, leading to small signal equivalent modeling (hybrid-Pi, T-model) to find maximum collector current managed through design of the cut-off region of the transistor in active mode engineering applications. Adhering to IEEE/ANSI manufacturing standards supporting in-service energized electrical equipment operations — prior to saturation and identifying any source of distortion (the region of convergence) with a focus on time domain functions.
